Palazzo Albergati is a sumptuous, magnificent country dwelling located in Zola Predosa, right outside Bologna’s city centre. The palace is one of the most significant and original works of Baroque architecture of the entire seventeenth century. Soon after its construction, the great halls of Palazzo Albergati became a very lively centre for cultural and social activities, hosting popes, kings, princes, musicians, scholars, scientists and famous adventurers.

The building strikes the observer with its extraordinary size and with the unusual contrast between the austere exterior and the unexpected Baroque interiors. The breathtaking setting is further enhanced by original furniture, decorations and paintings that reveal the exquisite taste, culture and flamboyance of its historical residents.

Palazzo Albergati has been one of the first historical residences in Italy to be converted into a prestigious event venue; and since the very beginning, it established itself among the top locations available for conferences, parties and exhibitions on the national territory. The intrinsic features of its architectural body, the beauty and size of its magnificent chambers, guarantee great flexibility and enable all kinds of events to take place.
